Snow!

We finally got some snow!! We didn't get a whole lot, but enough to be able to get out and play for a little while. The kids had a great time throwing snowballs at each other and make snow angels. It was pretty cold so we didn't stay out too long--just long enough to burn some energy and make our faces red!

Christmas Eve 2009

2009 Christmas Eve was as wonderful as always with Beth and Chris being great hosts. We love getting together and celebrating. Olivia was especially cute this year with singing many Christmas carols and Jake is getting to be such a little man and saying grace before dinner. Allison is home from college for a little while so it was great to visit with her. Emily is growing up as well and is wonderful with playing with her little cousins.

The grand kids. (Yes--even Annie the dog is included.)

Aww... My cute kiddos.

Okay--maybe not. :)

Anderson Christmas

We had a great time on Saturday celebrating with the Anderson side of our family. We don't get to see Grandma Linda and Grandpa LJ too much, so the kids really love to spend the time with them on the holiday.

Olivia excited about all of her Crayola products. This is the Magic Light Brush where she can paint without getting stuff all over her and the table and the... She also got the crayon maker and a few Color Wonder marker sets and coloring books.

Gramps and his Wordle.

Santa

Santa did a great job this year bringing special gifts for the kids. Jacob has asked for a Nintendo Wii since they came out but Mommy kept saying that he didn't need it since he has an XBox 360, but Santa got it anyway! Olivia got her own Wii like video game system called V-Smile Motion where she has to move the controller the direction she wants to go. They also go fun stuff in their stockings like lip gloss and nailpolish and panties for Olivia and Wii pajama bottoms and books for Jake. (Jake is not happy about me posting these pictures without his shirt on, but he doesn't like to wear shirts--such a little man!)

Thanksgiving Weekend Fun!

We also enjoyed the Christmas Parade in Lowell just as we did last year! It wasn't quite as cold as last year so we were able to have a little more fun. As you can see, my goofy kids enjoyed themselves there too!

The kids rode on the elephant at the circus this year! Our elephant, Vicky, gave them a nice smooth ride all around the ring. They really enjoyed it! They also ate lots of food, such as the lovely blue shaved ice that stayed with us for the rest of the day! :)

Thanksgiving

We had another wonderful Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's house this year. We always enjoy being with our family. This was the first time to see Allison since she went to college this fall. As you can see, she looks great! What a wonderful family we have!

Fall Happenings

This fall we had a great time carving pumpkins. The kids both got into it this year with pulling out all of the seeds. They also went trick or treating in Lowell! Jake wanted to be a devil this year. So I couldn't resist having Olivia be an angel!

First Day of School

Yes, another start to the school year has come and gone. Jacob is a 2nd grader at Reagan and Olivia is in the 3 year old class. Both are enjoying their new teachers. Jake continues to be a good student and LOVES to read! He is reading at a 3rd grade level now!
