After Christmas, I couldn't take Olivia's hair any more! She is not very good about letting me brush it or do anything with it in the morning, so we had 4 inches cut off! I think it looks pretty cute! :)
Our third and final Christmas this year was the Anderson Christmas! Gramps had a fall before Christmas, so he couldn't be with us at his house, but we had a great time visiting with Dad and Linda. Then, we went to the hospital to visit with Gramps and give him his gifts. Even though it wasn't a normal Christmas, it was a lot of fun. Olivia was given a Build A Bear from Gramps that was made to be Gramps. It is named Larry and it even had glasses! Olivia just loves it!
Our second event was Christmas day when Santa came! The kids got many gifts from the big guy and they had a blast. Mommy on the other hand was miserable cutting, twisting and prying all of the boxes open. Chris tried to participate as much as possible, but with him being so sick, all he could do was lay in the recliner. We allowed him to sleep the rest of the day as we went back to the Bielefeld's house to visit with Aunt Lorna and Uncle Freddie. The best part of the day was playing Spoons! As they say, it's all fun until someone gets hurt. Poor Allison got her finger bent by Uncle Freddie! That was the end of the fun and games. Olivia and Jacob had great shirts to wear this day. Jacob's shirt read, "Jingle Bells, Homework Smells." Olivia's shirt said, "My brother is the naughty one." We all know who the naughty one is--and it is NOT the brother!
We had a lovely Christmas this year as alwasy. It was fun to have a little one so excited for Santa to come and just to have packages to open. We had our typical 3 day event. Our first, Christmas Eve was at the Bielefeld's with thier family, our family and of course Nana and Papa! Even though Chris got sick, we still had a good time.
